When he was five years old, he sailed to America with his parents. Since childhood, Zhang Shaofu has a strong interest in animation. While studying at the San Francisco Art Institute, he collaborated with two partners on his graduation project, the Dragon Boy. Zhang Shaofu said, the short film about three partners prepared a stage play, respectively playing a prince, a princess and the Devil Dragon, three people have a love triangle. The prince is arrogant and arrogant. The boy who plays the dragon plays the villain, but he is kind enough to win the heart of the princess. It was supposed to be a graduation project, but it won the grand prize. Dragon Boy won best animated short film at the 38th Annual Student Oscar Awards in June. It is reported that the United States student Oscar Awards every year hundreds of applicants, the selection of long film, Short film, Documentary and so on, won this award is very difficult. Zhang now works as an animator for a Los angeles-based Company. Zhang Shaofu said that as Wuhan Yazi, I have a special feeling for my hometown. The development of my motherland is getting better and better, and the animation is also making great progress. I hope I can go back to my hometown to realize my animation dream in the future. On October 13, 2011, the hospital also presented Zhang with an honorary staff award.
