Sketch in Coventry
Before preparing to cooperate with the 2nd year students, I went to Coventry to sketch, which has a Coventry Transport Museum with all kinds of transportation tools on display. Coventry Transport Museum is the world’s largest collection of British cars. It has some important national exhibits, including more than 240 cars, commercial vehicles and buses, 94 motorcycles, 200 bicycles, 25000 model cars and nearly 1 million archives and transitional items. I visited there in the afternoon and took many photos. At the same time, I chose a better perspective to sketch. I drew the perspective outline of the object first, and then drew the details of various cars. I drew four pictures in total, two cars, motorcycles and airships from different angles. Overall, this trip to Coventry made me understand the transportation culture in art and the evolution history of cars, which will be a good animation material for me in the future.
